about our club
We are Denver Mile High Schutzhund Club. We are a member of a national non-profit organization, United Schutzhund Clubs of America (USCA) dedicated to preserving the temperament and working ability of the German Shepherd Dog (GSD). We have German Shepherd Dogs, Rottweilers and have had Malinois in our club. We help each other out to get the most out of our dogs. We really have a team atmosphere. For this reason, we are a small club with high aspirations!
Our club formed in 2003 and since then we have had some major accomplishments including:
- 2003 RM/GP SchH3 Regional Champion - von Willowind Sheeba
- 2004 RM/GP SchH3 Regional Champion - von Willowind Sheeba
- 2005 RM/GP SchH3 Regional Champion - Amos von Getevallei
- 2005 FCI World Championship Competitor - von Willowind Sheeba
- 2006 RM/GP SchH3 Regional Champions - Nykee von Willowind
- Every Regional Champion has gone on to compete at the USA National Championship!
- 2006 USRC Schutzhund Nationals - 2nd Place - Maddie von der Schroff
- 2007 Inagural AKC Working Dog Sport - 2nd Place - Nykee von Willowind
- 2007 Inagural AKC Working Dog Sport - 3rd Place - Afra von Haus Gerzabek
- 2007 USA National Competitor - Youngest Dog - Afra von Haus Gerzabek
We train usually on Tuesdays and Saturdays. We welcome the community to learn various training activities and you are always welcome to come and watch our training. Please contact us prior so that we can give you directions.
